I am a highly experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) professional, safety consultant, trainer, business owner, and trade-qualified Boilermaker with more than 25 years of hands-on industry experience across construction, manufacturing, mining, transport, civil infrastructure, engineering, and training.

My career has been built from the ground up. Starting as a tradesman in fabrication, welding, mining, and heavy industry, I developed a practical understanding of workplace risks, operational challenges, and the importance of effective safety leadership. This real-world experience has enabled me to successfully transition into senior safety and management roles where I have led teams, developed management systems, improved workplace cultures, and delivered practical solutions that achieve results.

Most recently, I served as HSEQ Manager for CSG Composites, where I was responsible for managing safety, quality, and environmental systems while leading the development and maintenance of ISO-accredited management systems as well as organising Projects, and deliverables for jobs and keeping the products in production and on time.

Throughout my career, I have worked on major road infrastructure projects, manufacturing facilities, mining operations, renewable energy projects, and industrial workplaces across New South Wales and Queensland.

I am also the founder and currently Director of SS Safety Pty Ltd, providing professional safety consulting, auditing, training, risk management, and compliance services to businesses seeking practical and effective workplace solutions.

What sets me apart is my ability to bridge the gap between management requirements and frontline operations. Having worked as a tradesman, supervisor, trainer, consultant, and manager, I understand the challenges faced at every level of an organisation. My approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on achieving compliance while creating safer and more productive workplaces.

My qualifications include a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Return to Work Coordinator certification, high-risk licensing, and extensive experience delivering accredited training in areas including forklift operations, elevated work platforms, confined space entry, working at heights, and workplace safety systems.
